A scalloped peach platter edged in gold. At its center, two unsent letters and a pair of quills sit inside a pink and teal urn, under a shower of starbursts. Around the urn, the inscription: “A draft never sent, a wound not closed… Sent in earnest, met with silence…”
One-of-a-kind hand-built platter. Glazed stoneware clay finished with overglaze enamels and precious metal lusters.
Hanging hardware attached.
Dimensions: 14” diameter x 1.5” H
Made by hand in Los Angeles. Wobbles, glaze drips, uneven lines and small marks are part of the work, not defects.
